Laura obtained her undergraduate degree from UCSB and her graduate degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from CSUH. She is a current ASHA member and holds a California State License in Speech & Language Pathology. She has spent over 20 years working in pediatrics including at the Tri City Medical Center & the South San Francisco School District. She has been in private practice for the past 16 years. Her NICU training and participation on a Development Assessment Team, focusing on implementing a multidisciplinary approach for High Risk Infants, provides her with the skills and understanding to develop the foundational skills essential for the success of a child. Laura is a guest speaker for MCC for the Child Development Program. Laura recently obtained certification as a Child Advocate from USD to represent families during the IEP process.
